|
We have an idea of what schools need sports equipment or uniform.
Supplies to fundraise..
We have to be unique with our fundraising.
We have be 100% sure about our plan and go through with it.
|
We can’t do a sausage sizzle and fundraise money. We figure out another way to fundraise like mufti day or just go with the raffle as well.

9PBL - 13/11/17
Group Name - Four Musketeers
Group Members - Johnny, Tevita, Arlan and Hussain.
The topic that we have chosen is Fundraising for sport equipment.
We have accessed no websites to gain information.
Schools can't afford sports equipment.
The picture of the future that I am thinking of is students loving sports and treasuring it for the rest of their lives.
This will impact the community by letting students enjoy sport instead of sitting out, they should be enjoying and trying new sports until they find their favourite sports.

As I feel the butterflies in my stomach, feeling the sweat dripping all over my face. I hear kids screaming with joy. As I walk into a seat on the rollercoaster. The ride was starting of so slow, I was already worried. We were going up a ramp and getting ready to go down! We speed past everything, I was on a flying dragon! I speed through loop after loop and was about to throw up!

Evidence for Evolution
How do paleontologists learn about evolution?
Through the understanding of the geology of earth layers. This leads to the adaption of features grown to adapt into the environment which they have to apply to. We can understand this through the fossil. These horses have adapted to environment
Describe what fossils reveal about the evolution of the horse
What are vestigial structures? Give an example.
Define Bio-geography
The study of biological creatures in the form of their geography and how they lived in their habitat and how they arrived. Information provided by Anaru Jackson.
Describe an example of island bio-geography that provides evidence of evolution

What does the term "Baking is a Science" mean? Never heard of it.
Why is the number of folds important of your mixture? So its not too thick and not too mixtury???
What were the key baking tips we discussed for the muffins? when its cooked to check you use a skewer and put it in the muffin, if nothing comes up its fully cooked if there is stuff then not cooked.

Similes + Metaphor in songs
Roar - Katy Perry
I used to bite my tongue and hold my breath
Scared to rock the boat and make a mess
So I sat quietly, agreed politely
I guess that I forgot I had a choice
I let you push me past the breaking point
I stood for nothing, so I fell for everything
Scared to rock the boat and make a mess
So I sat quietly, agreed politely
I guess that I forgot I had a choice
I let you push me past the breaking point
I stood for nothing, so I fell for everything
You held me down, but I got up (hey!)
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, your hear that sound
Like thunder, gonna shake your ground
You held me down, but I got up
Get ready 'cause I've had enough
I see it all, I see it now
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, your hear that sound
Like thunder, gonna shake your ground
You held me down, but I got up
Get ready 'cause I've had enough
I see it all, I see it now
I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter
Dancing through the fire
'Cause I am the champion, and you're gonna hear me roar
Louder, louder than a lion
'Cause I am a champion, and you're gonna hear me roar!

Manga/Pasifika Research Page
Manga
My Research
Manga was first shown in scrolls in the 12th century. Manga is a translated term that can be translated as comic. Writers such as Takashi Murakami have stressed events after WWII, but Murakami sees Japan's defeat and the atomic bombing go Hiroshima and Nagasaki as having created king-lasting scars on the Japanese artistic psyche, which, in this view, lost its previously virile confidence in itself and sought solace in harmless and cute images. However, Takayuki sees a special like for a transpacific economic and cultural transnationalism that created a postmodern and scared international youth culture of cartooning, film, television, music, and related popular arts, which was, for Tatsumi the crucible in which modern manga have developed.
TEACHERS RESEARCH
It was in late 18th century Japan, when a growing middle class of merchants (sellers) had developed markets for villages (old-school malls!), that manga-like images first appeared.
Printed as books using woodblock technology, kibosh ("yellow covers") were storybooks for adults in which story and words were placed in and around ink-brush pictures.
Like modern-day manga, they dealt with a variety of subjects, including humour, drama, fantasy, and even pornography. By the mid 19th century, kibyoshi had disappeared, victims of both government censorship and the convenience of more modern publishing - like a newspaper.
Although there are certain startling resemblances, kibyoshi are not the direct ancestors of modern manga. The ancestor of the modern manga, believe it or not, is the European/American-style political cartoon of the end of the 19th century, and the multi-panel comic strips that flowered in American newspaper in the last years of the 19th century and the first years of the 20th century.
The single most important factor in the creation of the modern manga industry was the work of one artist, the late Osamu Tezuka, known in Japan as the "god of manga". Tekuza's most popular creation, Mighty Atom, is known throughout the world; an animated version was broadcasted in the U.S. in the 1960's under the name "Astro Boy"
