Writing T4W3/4

In writing, we are currently working of punctuation and vocabulabulary.

This is a picture of the kakariki birds we saw at Lochmara Lodge.

This is what I wrote.

There I was staring straight at a red crowned kakariki bird, the first time I ever seen one. It has a mossy-green feathered body, a lengthy green tail and has a red feathered head. All I could hear was birds chirping like a morning with birds singing.
It smelt like a hippo who took a massive poop. It tasted like poop-flavoured air which tasted disgusting. Sadly I didn’t get to touch any of the birds because they were all far away from the group. I felt so cramped because of the space we had to share with the group.
