Sue Kedley


Sue Kedgley's Early Life

Sue Kedgley was born in Wellington in 1948. She attended Samuel Marsden Colligiate in Wellington and then Victoria University and Otago University. She worked for eight years at the united nation in New York, for a decade in New Zealand television. She has been a member of the Green Party since its founding and was elected to parliament in 1999. One of the issues and making it as healthy as possible.

I am a food consumer because I consume food.

Explain the meaning of the following words/phrases: country of origin, global food scandals, exports, quality control, Campylobacter, pesticide residues, genetically modified.
Country of origin is where it originated from. Global Food Scandals is when a global country shares/exports food which is scam? Exports is when a country exports food/materials needed for the country. Quality Control is when you control the quality of a specific item/food. Campylobacter is a bacteria that can cause a disease and can infect humans and animals. Pesticide Residues is when there is still Pesticide spray on the food/item. Genetically Modified is when a food/item/animal is modified genetically like an apple that tastes like a grape.Is Mr Goff likely to be a member of the green party or not?
Not likely

Why is China Mentioned?
Because China and NZ have the same standards on food safety, environmental protection and worker conditions.

What has been a result of global food scandals?
People are dying.

Does New Zealand have the Nationwide campaign calling for country of origin.
