Sue Kedgley's Early Life

Sue Kedgley was born in Wellington in 1948. She attended Samuel Marsden Colligiate in Wellington and then Victoria University and Otago University. She worked for eight years at the united nation in New York, for a decade in New Zealand television. She has been a member of the Green Party since its founding and was elected to parliament in 1999. One of the issues and making it as healthy as possible.

I am a food consumer because I consume food.

Country of origin is where it originated from. Global Food Scandals is when a global country shares/exports food which is scam? Exports is when a country exports food/materials needed for the country. Quality Control is when you control the quality of a specific item/food. Campylobacter is a bacteria that can cause a disease and can infect humans and animals. Pesticide Residues is when there is still Pesticide spray on the food/item. Genetically Modified is when a food/item/animal is modified genetically like an apple that tastes like a grape.Is Mr Goff likely to be a member of the green party or not?
Not likely

Why is China Mentioned?
Because China and NZ have the same standards on food safety, environmental protection and worker conditions.

What has been a result of global food scandals?
People are dying.

My Elixir!

My elixir will give make you have strong muscles and make you run faster than the speed of light! It will also make your hair grow, just by rubbing a little bit of elixir on your head daily and hair will grow on your head!

English Bellwork

Today I was watching one of my favourite gaming youtubers called Haxusate. He plays minecraft and he plays a mini-game which is called HCF (Hardcore Faction). He traps people which then when he kills them they have to wait 1 hour until they can play again. Or they can use in-game lives which cost.

Maui And the Giant Fish

The story explained that Maui caught a giant fish which turned into land and the boat crashed while Maui and his brothers froze to death and turned into stone which is now known and the Southern Alps.

Something positive about it is that it is a good story and it has good explanation of what was happening.

Maori History - Moko

In Social Studies we are learning about the maori history. Moko's were a maori version of a tattoo. The ink was burnt wood and applied by using a little hammer and a sharp tool. This would go deep in its skin and make a long lasting scar. This victim would bleed a lot! Some people even died after this just to look good when you fight other tribes.


The chin area means Wairua Or Mana.

Dilution Experiment

I want to investigate how to dilute a solution.

Equipment:

Test Tube Rack

Test Tubes

10mL measuring cylinder

What is dilution?

Dilution is a process where you dilute liquid or a solution.

Method

Fill measuring cylinder with 10mL of water

Add 10mL of water to a test tube

Add 9mL of water to 5 more tests tubes.

Add a small spatulaful of Potassium Permanganate to the first 10mL test tube of water

Add 1mL of the dark purple Potassium Permanganate into the second test tube.

Add 1mL of the second tube into the third test tube.

Add 1mL of the third test tube into the fourth test tube.

Add 1mL of the fourth test tube into the fifth test tube.

Add 1mL of the fifth test tube into the sixth test tube.

Results

The first test tube went a dark purple colour.

As we poured 1mL from each test tube into the next test tube, the colour lightened each time.

1) What did I think of the story?

I thought that the story was a bit short and could've added maybe 2-3 more pages to make it more interesting.

2) Explain why I think of that?
Because it wouldn't have been a good story if its just 3 pages long.

3) What characters can you relate to.
I can relate to the others because my cousin always fights my little sister and I try to stop them but he dosen't stop.

Monologues. Drama

In drama we are learning to say monologues.

9.Pirate: Can I talk like a pirate?  Ay, matie!  Avast! Ahoy!  Aye-aye, I can!   Shiver me timbers! I can talk like a pirate better than any lily-livered, jelly-legged sea-goer that ever there once was!  I says whatever I’ve got to say in a pirate way and if any bilge-sucking buccaneer says I don’t, I’ll cleave him to the brisket!  I swear on Davy Jones’ Locker, to be a true blue pirate you’ve got to be able to load a cannon and fire it- but most important you’ve got to talk like a pirate! I read it to Mrs Clark and she said I needed to use gestures.

Holidays

I enjoyed the holidays because I played video games, and I also got to have fun with my family because we didn't really get to do much of it.
